A great way to spend your time in Iceland is to drive the Golden Circle in a 38″ Arctic truck and check out the amazing sights on the way. The circle is approximately 300 km, starting in Reykjavík and ending in Reykjavík. It contains many of Icelands most beautiful sights!
Starting by driving to the beautiful Þingvellir National park, which is the home of Icelands ancient Viking parliment. A place rich in history and mindblowing beauty.
From Þingvellir the road leads to Haukadalur. In Haukadalur there is a a lot of geothermal activety which leads to the increadble spouting of hot water from the hot springs. Haukadalur is home to the famous hot spring Geysir, which is no longer active. Strokkur though is active and every 5-10 minutes he spouts water to a height of up to 35 meters!
Next up is the magnificent waterfall Gullfoss! A majestic waterfall cascating in to Hvítá River. Amazing sight!
The most fun though is to include a special tour to Langjökull glacier in your Golden Circle drive. There you can rent a snowmobile and have some real fun! The drive to the glacier can be tricky and the Jeep has to give it all he gots to get you there!
